The Best Ways To Lose Weight Fast, Tips From Regular Joes

It’s not only professionals who know ways to lose weight fast, regular people have some pretty good ideas too.

Avoid fried meat, eat only grilled or boiled meat like steak and chicken  Use a lot of spices to make it even better.

Stop drinking sodas.  Those are empty calories so stop drinking them and substitute water.  (Note that the average person adds 90,000 calories a year from drinking juice or soda.  WOW!  That’s a great tip.)

If there’s no junk food at home you can’t eat it.  When shopping, make a list, stick to what’s on the list.

Give yourself a treat.  When you can’t eat something you end up craving it more, and eventually binging.  Enjoy a treat once a week, or even once a day in smaller quantities.  Don’t go crazy, remember the rule of moderation.

Trick yourself into being satisfied with less by eating off a smaller plate.  (Not only are you tricking yourself, even if the trick doesn’t work it’s easier to stop eating when the plate is empty and there’s no more food available.)

Stay away from quick weight loss fad diets.  They starve you and then you eat more when the diet is over.

Exercise at every opportunity, even at the desk with some leg lifts.  (That’s a great idea to increase your metabolism.)

Measure your food.  If you have junk food be careful to measure and control the portion.  (Portion control is a big part of a healthy diet.  Most restaurants and even people at home serve portions that are way too large.)

Get really sick.  After a month in the hospital I had lost 25 pounds.  (Bad idea.  It’s best to stick to weight loss plans while staying healthy.  After all, the ultimate goal is improved health.)

Stay with something long enough to repeat it a few times, then you can coast.  (It’s said that when we repeat something 21 times it becomes a habit.  Sometimes the number is different, but the idea is the same.  Will power is only necessary to repeat something enough times for it to become a habit.)

When you eat rapidly the body doesn’t have time to feel full.  Take your time.

Second: Set realistic approaches. The ability to focus and have proper mindset enables someone on a diet to quickly lose those extra pounds. With discipline and proper mind set, a dieter will never be discouraged and lose focus.

Third: Listen as the body speaks. Each and everyone’s body metabolism reacts differently to different fast weight loss programs and plans. Try substituting one program for another to compensate the body’s reaction. Exercise program must be suitable to one’s body, as some may not be able to exercise as rigorously as others can. Does anyone know a quick weight loss diet to lose weight fast so I can be skinny for my wedding?

I dont need to lose a TON, I just need to lose enough. I want to lose about 15-20 pounds and tone. I have time for 8 minute abs but that’s about it! I work two jobs and my mother has cancer so I take care of her as well I’m always on my feet, also, the wedding is in November so I have about 6 months!

Well you didn’t say how much time you had. But I can tell you the diets like Atkins and other diets leaving out important food groups are bad for you and do make you lose weight but that called water weight when you lose it like that then when you stop the diet it comes right back. The eat clean diet helped me so much lose that extra weight trust me I’ve tried a lot of diets and the eat clean diet worked the best. I lost 45 pound in one year and it stayed off the link is, http://eatcleandiet.com/ but if you are not faithful by going to the gym at least 3 times a week you wont lose the weight. It’s not easy but you will look great and stay great. Another great diet is south beach diet, it can be quite expensive though. but 80 percent of looking great is nutrition, you can’t have any sugar if you want to have great abs. And again, I the eat clean diet helped me out so much if you lose 2+ pounds a week for a year or even a month using the eat clean diet like I did you will look amazing but your diet will have to be very strict. I’ll write out a daily and cardio activity for you to help. Once a week you can have a cheat meal, glass of wine, burger king, etc. BUT ONLY ONCE A WEEK! It would be better if you didn’t have one but after eating chicken and sweet potatoes everyday its nice to eat something different. Also always make sure you eat 6 times a day because if you don’t you will lose all your hard earned muscle because your body will eat your muscle if you are not having enough protein. Never forget to have a protein shake after your workout either it’s essential to give yourself essential protein to your body when needed most after a workout. Now remember it may sound like a lot but it’s the best way to lose weight and have great stomach. Hope you have a great marriage! P.S. Does anyone know a quick weight loss diet?

I have to go to this wedding in a couple of months, and want to lose some weight. Is there a diet out there that drops pounds FAST? I have heard of the Size Zero Pill, but don’t know how to get it. Any ideas for weight loss? Thank you.

Is this a good diet for quick weight loss?

breakfast:oatmeal 100 snack: apple 100 lunch: yogurt 100 cheese 50 snack: half sandwich: 150 dinner: veggie stirfry: 200 total:700 If I stick to this or something along these lines will I be able to lose like 4 lbs by next Sat? It’s winter formal and I’m 5′4″ and currently about 110 lbs and I want to be 106? if this isnt good can someone tell me what will work?
Nope this won’t work actually… You need 1,200 calories at the very least because the way the body works is that if you don’t eat enough calories your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to every calorie it gets so you won’t lose any weight. I just went to a nutritionist and she actually told me that my 1,200 calorie plan was still to low, and suggested i bring it up to 1,800… It sounds like good food to eat you just need to up the calories. But if you want to lose some weight before a dance the best way to do it is to stick to a good meal plan, cut out salts because you will retain water from that, and drink a ton of water. Same as calories, when you body is not getting enough water it will hang on to whatever you get causing a retention of water weight, which is what you’ll be able to shed before the dance. I know it sounds strange but drink as much water as you possibly can until the day before the dance. Also, 40 mins of decently intense cardio a day. 4 pounds will be gone really quick i promise!
